In my experience, "fiscal conservatives" tend to prioritize the overall economy and families. In that context, I'm not sure its fair to classify legislators who "look down on the PFD as 'free money'" - and as a result are fine cutting or eliminating it - as "fiscal conservatives." Certainly, as Top20%'ers, they are looking out for THEIR economy and THEIR family, but the overall economy and families, not so much. Instead, I think the much better categorization for that faction is plutocrats, or at least, wannabe plutocrats.
